Analysis: Few have had better opening weeks of the 2017-18 season than Davis, who's averaging a terrific 31.7 points, 17.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks through the Pelicans' first three games. The superstar forward has corralled at least 17 boards in each of those contests and is starting to expand his game beyond the 3-point line as well, as he's knocked down 5 of 11 trey attempts thus far.

Davis pulled down 17 rebounds and had four assists, tallying a plus-minus of -18 in his 52:09 on the floor. He added three steals. Davis went 3 of 3 from 3-point range.
Analysis: This was a second monster double-double in as many games for Davis, but this time he had a much better shooting performance after going 9 for 23 from the field in the opener. Surprisingly, though, he has only one blocked shot.

Davis grabbed 18 rebounds and did not have an assist, tallying a plus-minus of -15 in his 40:14 of playing time. He added one block. Davis went 1 of 2 from behind the arc.
Analysis: As long as he stays healthy, Davis is going to be a fantasy star this season. He played a career high 75 games last season, averaging career highs of 28 points and 11.8 rebounds.
