|Nov. 13, 2017 10:44 PM PT11:44 PM MT12:44 AM CT1:44 AM ET6:44 GMT14:44 11:44 PM MST1:44 AM EST12:44 AM CT10:44 UAE1:44 ETNaN: - Brandin Cooks had six receptions for 74 yards Sunday in the New England Patriots' 41-16 win over the Denver Broncos.
Analysis: Cooks has scored in only two of his nine games as a Patriot, but he's still been a consistent contributor during New England's current five-game winning streak. The offseason addition has been good for about five catches and 70 yards on average during that run, numbers in line with a reliable WR2 with the potential to be more than that.
|Oct. 29, 2017 2:00 PM PT3:00 PM MT4:00 PM CT5:00 PM ET21:00 GMT5:00 2:00 PM MST4:00 PM EST3:00 PM CT1:00 UAE (+1)17:00 ETNaN: - Brandin Cooks had five receptions for 26 yards Sunday in the New England Patriots' 21-13 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Analysis: Cooks was targeted eight times but had his lowest yardage total of the season. He remains a very hit-or-miss option.
|Oct. 22, 2017 8:55 PM PT9:55 PM MT10:55 PM CT11:55 PM ET3:55 GMT11:55 8:55 PM MST10:55 PM EST10:55 PM CT7:55 UAE (+1)23:55 ETNaN: - Brandin Cooks had four receptions for 65 yards and one touchdown Sunday in the New England Patriots' 23-7 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
Analysis: Cooks' targets and totals were a little down after he racked up 178 yards over the previous two weeks, but the TD catch offset those slightly lower numbers. Clearly more comfortable in New England's diverse offense than he was early in the season, the former Saint has re-emerged as a relatively safe fantasy starter with plenty of upside as well.
|Oct. 15, 2017 1:34 PM PT2:34 PM MT3:34 PM CT4:34 PM ET20:34 GMT4:34 1:34 PM MST3:34 PM EST3:34 PM CT0:34 UAE (+1)16:34 ETNaN: - Brandin Cooks had six receptions for 93 yards Sunday in the New England Patriots' 24-17 win over the New York Jets.
Analysis: Cooks was Tom Brady's go-to guy on Sunday and continues to be a very dangerous big-play threat.
|Oct. 6, 2017 9:04 PM PT10:04 PM MT11:04 PM CT12:04 AM ET4:04 GMT12:04 9:04 PM MST11:04 PM EST11:04 PM CT8:04 UAE0:04 ETNaN: - Brandin Cooks had five receptions for 85 yards Thursday in the New England Patriots' 19-14 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Analysis: Cooks has yet to have that monster game with both catches and yardage but he's been a consistent contributor. He's gone over 80 yards three times in five games, even if he's only found the end zone in one game. Cooks could be poised for that huge performance next week against the Jets after a long layoff.
|Oct. 1, 2017 2:08 PM PT3:08 PM MT4:08 PM CT5:08 PM ET21:08 GMT5:08 2:08 PM MST4:08 PM EST4:08 PM CT1:08 UAE (+1)17:08 ETNaN: - Brandin Cooks had three receptions for 38 yards Sunday in the New England Patriots' 33-30 loss to the Carolina Panthers. He added one rush for four yards.|
|Sep. 24, 2017 2:10 PM PT3:10 PM MT4:10 PM CT5:10 PM ET21:10 GMT5:10 2:10 PM MST4:10 PM EST4:10 PM CT1:10 UAE (+1)17:10 ETNaN: - Brandin Cooks had five receptions for 131 yards and two touchdowns Sunday in the New England Patriots' 36-33 win over the Houston Texans.
Analysis: It was the fifth multi-touchdown game and eighth 100-yard game of his career. He didn't do a ton in his first two games, but this is more like what the Patriots expected.
|Sep. 17, 2017 1:59 PM PT2:59 PM MT3:59 PM CT4:59 PM ET20:59 GMT4:59 1:59 PM MST3:59 PM EST3:59 PM CT0:59 UAE (+1)16:59 ETNaN: - Brandin Cooks had two receptions for 37 yards Sunday in the New England Patriots' 36-20 win over the New Orleans Saints. He added two rushes for six yards.
Analysis: Cooks was rather quiet in his return to New Orleans.
|Sep. 8, 2017 9:52 PM PT10:52 PM MT11:52 PM CT12:52 AM ET4:52 GMT12:52 9:52 PM MST11:52 PM EST11:52 PM CT8:52 UAE0:52 ETNaN: - Brandin Cooks had three receptions for 88 yards Thursday in the New England Patriots' 42-27 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Analysis: Cooks' stat line in his New England debut was ordinary, but that had more to do with Tom Brady having an off night. He's still set up for a big fantasy year as the top member of the Patriots' ailing wide receiver corps, and should have plenty of motivation when he visits the Superdome next week to face his former New Orleans teammates.
|Aug. 26, 2017 9:30 AM PT10:30 AM MT11:30 AM CT12:30 PM ET16:30 GMT0:30 9:30 AM MST11:30 AM EST11:30 AM CT20:30 UAE12:30 ETNaN: - Julian Edelman suffered an ACL tear on the opening possession that ended with Tom Brady throwing his first of two touchdown passes to Chris Hogan in a 30-28 victory over the Detroit Lions on Friday night.
Analysis: With Edelman out for the season, Hogan and Cooks are likely to get a bump in fantasy value. "Someone will have to step up," Brady said.
|Mar. 10, 2017 4:29 PM PT5:29 PM MT6:29 PM CT7:29 PM ET0:29 GMT8:29 5:29 PM MST7:29 PM EST6:29 PM CT4:29 UAE (+1)19:29 ETNaN: - The New England Patriots picked up a huge weapon for Tom Brady, acquiring Cooks from the New Orleans Saints on Friday night for a first- and third-round pick in this year's draft. The reigning Super Bowl champion Patriots also received a fourth-round draft choice, multiple media outlets reported. ESPN first reported the deal.
Analysis: Cooks, 23, caught 78 passes for 1,173 yards and eight touchdowns last season. It was his second straight 1,000-yard campaign as he caught 84 passes for 1,138 yards and nine scores in 2015. The 20th overall pick in the 2014 draft, Cooks has 215 career receptions for 2,861 yards and 20 touchdowns.
